The Hawk's Nest Lodge is located in West Forks, Maine along the Dead River and Maine's Old Canada Road National Scenic Byway. The Hawk's Nest offers deluxe trail side accommodations, great food and a cozy atmosphere. You won't find anything else in Maine that compares for hundreds of miles. Nearly every surface of this log lodge is custom designed and handcrafted by owners Peter Dostie and Sarah Thrasher. The entire structure was built utilizing 100-200 year old American logs. The many beautiful log carvings were created by Connecticut's Jeff Samudosky, who is ranked as one of the nation's best carvers.

The Hawk's Nest is an adventure destination open year-round for those wanting to enjoy the outdoors. Many guests staying with us are here to snowmobile, whitewater raft, fish, kayak or hike. Many are here just to relax. We welcome travelers enjoying the spectacular fall foliage, and we're a nice spot for lunch on your journey to Quebec, Canada or if you're out on our trails.
