THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING YOUR RESERVATION

A two-night minimum stay is required for weekends.

​

We cannot guarantee availability for an early check-in. If you would like to be in your room before 4pm, you may consider adding the night prior to your reservation to ensure you can get into your room early.

​

Daily housekeeping is not available. We will be more than happy to resupply your bath towels, shower amenities, and coffee station needs, as well as trash removal, upon your request. This service is not provided automatically.

​Since we are not a traditional hotel, we do not have a lobby or customer service desk open 24/7. Therefore, unless the restaurant is open, all reservations will follow our contactless check in procedures which will be provided before your arrival.

UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS OF OUR LODGE

The Hawk’s Nest Lodge is a custom built log building located in Maine. At certain times of the year we experience bees, flies, black flies, mosquitos, ladybugs. and other bugs both inside and out. Please be prepared if you are joining us during the warm parts of the year. We do our best to keep these pests under control. In the Maine woods, they will be present and they can be bothersome.

The Hawk’s Nest Lodge is a wooden structure, which has a much different feel than the large chain hotels built from concrete. As such, noise travels in a way you may not expect at a hotel. Wooden walls do not offer the same soundproofing as concrete and drywall. You may hear your neighbors and they may hear you. Please remember to be polite and respectful. Staying in a hand-built lodge across from a river in Maine is picturesque and unlike most any other place you might travel. With it come things to be aware of so you can enjoy your visit and the beauty that surrounds you.

Our ONLY Service Pet-Friendly Suite is the Lower River. Please reach out to us directly to make arrangements. A $30/night surcharge will be added to your stay.
