The Forks Area Trail System is in the western mountains of Maine and part of a 13,500-mile groomed trail grid which is one of the finest in North America. The Hawk's Nest Lodge is located in the heart of this trail system as well as in Maine's heaviest snow belt. Our groomed ITS and Alpine Trails reach over mountain passes from 2,000 to 3,700 ft. - the highest elevations in the northeast.

Thanks to our central location, you can ride to any number of locations including Colburn Mountain - Maine's highest groomed snowmobile trail, Grand Falls, Jackman, Greenville, Bingham, Rangeley, Rockwood and across the U.S border into Quebec, Canada.
