ATV Riding

The Maine Department of Conservation considers the Kennebec River Valley to have some of the best maintained all terrain vehicle (ATV) trails in the East. The trail views are breathtaking. You will see wildlife - deer, moose, coyotes, and bald eagles - and travel into forests so pristine they are called Enchanted. Mountain top views can range over one hundred miles and include the lakes, streams, ponds, and waterfalls that make up the last true wilderness in the East.

The Hawk’s Nest Lodge is located right along these vary trails. There’s much to explore and many miles to ride so plan to stay a few nights at the lodge or to stop by for a spectacular riverside meal at the pub.
